Casting Experience: I'm looking for entry level work in casting. Because I always enjoyed the process of casting my own short films and plays, I took a casting internship earlier this year. I'm hooked. Casting involves thinking with both the right and the left brain in a way I find very engaging. My acting, writing and directing experience all come into play along with the perverse side of me that actually likes logistics. So far my work in casting includes: Casting Intern at STARS The Agency in 2011 Scheduled and ran new talent auditions Ran camera Provided direction to actors Gave written audition feedback to agents Edited auditions and uploaded for agents Answered phones and supported front desk Scheduled actors for in-house casting sessions Ran in-house castings for projects including: The Master The Five-Year Engagement Read with actors during castings Edited castings and uploaded for clients
